Doubling down on its theocratic rule, the pastor’s ruling “Council of God” imposes a series of draconian edicts to maintain order among the nation’s beleaguered citizens, including its female population, whom the Council deems “subservient to men.” The women, enraged, rebel against the Council, further crippling the new country’s staggering economy.

Desperate to save his country, bumbling President Gruber solicits help from the only two allies he can find, a lethal Mexican drug lord trafficking drugs through the new nation’s black market and a deranged Iranian ayatollah who offers to supply oil to the rebel nation in exchange for placing nuclear missiles on the rebel republic’s border with the United States, a risky gambit that pits the tiny nation against its mighty northern neighbor.
